During the maintenance period, the listed service components will be unavailable as our system engineering team works carefully to improve and update our infrastructure. This maintenance event will temporarily affect some of your customer services.

Third Party Maintenance: Service Enhancement

To ensure uptime and stability of our infrastructure, our Wireless Provider's engineers performed a maintenance activity that was completed on April 3, 2024, at 9:00 PM CST. Service enhancements were deployed successfully.
There was no impact to any LTE services during the activity.

Date & Time: April 3, 2024, 10:00 AM CST
Trimble Transportation deployed updates to the Open Interface oi_pnet_driver_add and oi_pnet_driver_edit services on April 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST. This deployment involved removing AOBRD driver modifications, adding validation to ensure Driver IDs contain no spaces, and implementing additional validation to ensure Commercial Driver's License numbers contain no non-alphanumeric characters. No downtime occurred during this deployment.

We have successfully deployed refinements to the recently released login-initiated event. This deployment took place on April 3rd, 2024, from 9:45 AM until 10:15 AM CST.
Whats New: The Open Interface elog_events service can now be configured to return either the login-initiated event (which occurs just after the driver has entered credentials) or the existing login event (which occurs at the end of the login interview after shipment and trailer information has been entered). Most elog_events subscriptions are returning the standard login event. If you would like to switch to the login-initiated event, please contact integrationcases@peoplenetonline.com.

An update to the Fleet Manager ELD was successfully rolled out on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, starting from 8:00 PM and concluding at 9:00 PM CST. This update addressed an issue where the CSV Data file is incorrectly populating the M&D (Malfunctions and Diagnostics) section.
No downtime was expected during this update.

Our system engineering team successfully performed an upgrade on our firewall on March 30th, 2024, from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM CST. There was no expected downtime with this maintenance, and the deployment was completed without any issues. However, in the event of any unexpected downtime, our engineers had a rollback plan in place.

To ensure uptime and stability of our infrastructure, our Wireless Provider's engineers performed a maintenance activity starting on March 28, 2024, at 10:30 PM CST to deploy network enhancements. The maintenance activity has been successfully completed with no reported downtime
Scheduled Maintenance: Patching Update
Date & Time: March 23, 2024, 10:00 AM CST - 11:00 AM CST
The minor deployment to update services supporting our PMG devices' migration to the cloud infrastructure, scheduled for March 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM CST to 11:00 AM CST, has been successfully completed. During this maintenance event, message and data transmissions between a mobile device and the PFM or back office may have experienced delays of 10 - 15 minutes. This included minor delays to functions such as breadcrumbs, faults, finds, workflow messaging, device messaging, and email messaging.

An update was implemented to fix the driver login issue that took place on March 18 (incident 3177). This issue arose due to driver sync inconsistency between v1 and V0 after CDL state code validation was included in V1. The update was successfully deployed at 2:15 PM CST on March 18.

Our Third-Party Wireless Network engineers executed a config change on the firepower firewall to enable MAC assignment before migrating the traffic to the new firepower firewall. During the activity, LTE data services were impacted for up to 30 minutes.

To ensure uptime and stability, Third Party Carrier's carrier partner performed an emergency maintenance activity starting on March 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM CST to deploy service enhancements. This maintenance activity was successfully completed. During the activity, there may have been a brief disconnection in existing data sessions, but the sessions were re-established quickly.

Re-Scheduled Maintenance: Service Enhancement

On Wednesday, February 14, starting at 00:59 PM CT and concluding at 4:00 AM CT, our phone support provider has successfully completed maintenance to upgrade a routing switch in the Los Angeles data center for our cluster. This upgrade aimed to keep our infrastructure up to date with the latest software version. During the maintenance period, traffic was re-routed to ensure minimal disruption. While efforts were made to minimize impact, there was a very low possibility of up to 20 minutes of disruption during the re-routing process.
In the event of an impact, there may have been a brief delay in network connectivity, potentially causing customer phone calls to not be routed to support temporarily. To ensure uptime and stability of our infrastructure, Our Network Carrier Partner engineers have successfully completed a maintenance activity that started on Thursday, Feb 8, 2024, at 10:30 PM CT and concluded on Friday, Feb 9 at 2:30 AM CT. The maintenance was conducted to deploy network enhancement for US region customers. LTE data services were impacted for up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window.

This is to notify you that Network Carrier Provider engineers have successfully completed the maintenance activity that started on February 6th, 2024 at 5:00 PM CST and concluded at 9:00 PM. The maintenance was conducted to enhance network reliability. During the activity, data services may have been affected during the first 30 minutes. However, there was no impact on Voice, SMS, Portal Access, Provisioning, or Reporting services.

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, a communications infrastructure deployment was conducted to enhance system security and fault tolerance. This deployment took place between 8:00 PM CT and concluded at 10:00 PM CT.
Impact Summary:
The deployment caused three expected communication delays that affected all device platforms. These delays were expected to last 5-10 minutes as new infrastructure came online.
The maintenance was completed successfully, and the system is now operating with enhanced security and fault tolerance.
